This is a well known location due to its easy access to depth up to 70m within a short swim and good diving conditions all year round.
There are permanent mooring points for depths of 20m, 30m and 50m, and for days with no wind and no current even a 70m point is accessible.
The Lighthouse coral reef is at the same place.
Dahab is located abut one and a half hours away from Sharm El Sheik and airport taxi transfers are the main way to reach the site regardless of the time. Over the years the place developed due to tourism and freediving.
